yes I will definitely appreciate the response of postmaster in the context of the letter to the got because he was a kind person who want lencho faith alive in god. by my point of view ,in this type of situation someother person may be laugh and will not give this much of importance to the letter but the postmaster did, so I think postmaster was also a person of strong faith in god.
