There is nothing to 'believe in'. Buddha was a teacher; a man who lived ~2600 years ago. You may as well as why someone would believe in Plato, or any of the other ancient philosophers.

There are those who treat the Buddha as a god, but that is a practice that sprung up around him, much as Catholicism sprung up around Christ. Neither man ever made a claim about their own divinity; others made those claims for them (at least in the reading I have done about them, I could be wrong). As a matter of fact, if you search for things that the Buddha said about the afterlife, you won’t find much. He wasn't concerned with the afterlife, his concern was the liberation from suffering here in this life.

"Why do yo believe in Buddha’s teachings?" is a better question; albeit with nearly the same answer. One doesn’t have to ‘believe’ in them, they are testable. Practice his teachings and see for yourself. See if your suffering is reduced. If so, congrats! If not, perhaps his teachings aren't for you. Yet.

Yes I believe in Buddha Because Worship. Buddhist temple is the place of worship for Buddhists, the followers of Buddhism. They include the structures called vihara, stupa, wat and pagoda in different regions and languages. Temples in Buddhism represent the pure land or pure environment of a Buddha.. Worship in Mahayana tradition takes the form of devotion toBuddha and to Bodhisattvas. Worshippers may sit on the floor barefoot facing an image of Buddhaand chanting. They will listen to monks chanting from religious texts, perhaps accompanied by instruments, and take part in prayers.
