Yes I believe that African Americans are not taking parts in the declaration of Independence
Answer:
Yes, I believe that the African Americans, Native Americans and women are still struggling for EQUALITY today because they were not included in the Declaration of Independence. When the people wrote the Declaration of Independence, they said “All men are created equal” but that only means all white men are created equal. I think the people that time was educated in a way that makes them to think white men are superior to others. Even when people like Abigail Adams asked for a proportion of freedom, they couldn’t really change their belief that’s deeply implanted in their faith. One of the other reason was because they were too ignorant, they always thought they were doing the right thing: for example, they called natives “... merciless Indian Savages…” and they thought they were fighting for freedom but they were just simply too selfish to share it. These group still struggle because they were not giving “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” as promised. If it was “All PEOPLE are created equal” then the younger generations will be taught differently, preventing any long-time struggle like the Slavery and Black Lives Matter Movement. It will still take time for people to understand and change.
