If you think there's a higher energy than you - Yes but it's not God it's a viscous cycle we are all involved in. Everyone's action affects someone's motives. Try reading Ayn Rand - she has explained that philosophy with economical standpoints. She is one amazing philosopher. They have added a subject of her philosophy now.
