yes I think that green revolution has made India self sufficient on food grains this is because due to the Green revolution in Indiachemical fertilizers are introduce, modern techniques were used and farmers are able to to produce their crops even when the monsoon fails

Haryana where food grain production jumped from 7.23 million tonnes in 1964-65 to an all time high of 30.33 million tonnes in 1995.   (iv) The success of wheat was later replicated in rice production.
