I've had mixed feelings about it. I go to one high school in ALAIN, UAE and let me tell you a little bit how me and my friends usually spend my life during high school.

From Monday to Friday, we have 8 hours of school. That sounds pretty normal, but we have to be in school before 6.30 a.m. After that the teachers gather all of us in a field to do either ceremony, read a book, or read Quran for Muslims. There are some rules applied. If you break one of them, then good luck getting scolded by the teachers.
