Of course, Yes.

The gender discrimination exists in our society, and that may sometimes be the good and other times for bad.

Taking an example from our family only, a daughter and a son are treated in different manners.

A boy is given liberty to go outside without any time limits, but a girl is not - however, that is due to the safety reasons.

Nevertheless, everywhere there is gender discrimination.

Gender discrimination: The idea that men and women are not equal in the society is referred to as gender discrimination or gender inequality.  

It can also be stated as the unequal treatment of individuals due to their gender.

They arise from differences in gender roles and the gender systems are dichotomous and hierarchical.

Examples:

  • Women are always expected to work but also look after the household and take care of the children while the men don't.
