i) Indigestion is caused by overeating when the amount of HCL secreted in our stomach is quite higher than normal secretion to neutralise that we use some mild base like milk of magnesia. Which reacts with the HCL and neutralises its effect.

ii) The plants do not grow well when the soil is either acidic or basic. To neutralise that we use various types of fertilizers, which neutralises the acidic or basic nature of the soil to 6.5 to 7.5 ph.

iii) Ant bite contains formic acid which is a weak acid, we use some weak base to neutralise the effect of the ant bite such as soap, toothpaste etc.
