Yes its true that the increasing pollution and acid rain had a heavy effect on the marble of Taj Mahal and its is getting Darker day by day. According to the government rule :- No aircrafts are allowed to be flown over Taj Mahal but people are not obeying the laws. This has to be stopped now or it will once lead to destruction of Taj Mahal.
But if we talk about its replacement from the list of 7 WONDERS then by now it is impossible to remove Taj Mahal. India is one of the most know country in the world and Taj Mahal is the shine of India. Taj Mahal deserves the respect of being called one of the seven wonders and it will continue so. Even if Taj Mahal is removed from the list it will always be a wonder in the HEART OF EVERY INDIAN.
