Animals in respiration inhale oxygen and exhale Carbon Di Oxide whereas Plants in Photosynthesis takes up CO2 but exhale oxygen. So it maintains Biological Balance

Due to respiration of living beings O2 gas is intaken and Co2 is expelled out,with the Co2 the plants utilises it for the process of photosynthesis ,In the due course of time after photosynthesis has a by-product O2,we humans utilise for breathing.
