There are many ceremonies associated with food items.

There are several food festivals going on at different places of the world and local spheres.

Even though there are not a lot of international food festivals as such, there is the La Tomatina festival which is organized in Spain.

In this festival, people throw tomatoes on each other until they are covered with the pulp if the tomatoes.
