Out of 80 marks annual examination, 68 marks weightage shall be for theory and 12 marks weightage shall be for practical based questions.

From the last academic session, in CBSE Class 9, board had introduced the new format of examination. Under the new format, the dual assessment scheme that included two summative assessments was replaced with the annual examination wherein students are tested for the complete syllabus of CBSE class 9.
