This bridge is located in Howrah.
Howrah Bridge is a bridge situated over the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. The bridge was originally named the New Howrah Bridge which was commissioned in 1943. It replaced a pontoon bridge at the same location linking the two cities of Howrah and Kolkata and that's why its name was given as New Howarah Bridge.
