So I like Abstract art more than Real art. Abstract art gives you an opportunity to explore in all directions, allow your imaginations to run wild. It gives you a chance to escape from reality. Another best thing about Abstract art which I like is that the beauty of abstractness totally depends on perceiver. It depends on your perception and thus one can not assign any fixed meaning to it. I may find something in it which others can not perceive thus make it totally free from the concept of labelling or assigning any meaning to it. I think that's the true purpose of art to free you from boundaries and let your imagination run wild.
Although Realism has it's own quality. It capture things in real life which sometimes we ignore or never gave attention to appreciate it. Also you can appreciate really a very small amount of things in real life until you are not a wanderer or person who explores lot of things. So you get to appreciate those many things through realism.
