In the poem 'Rain on the roof' the poet loves the sound of the rain and lies on his bed to hear the patter of the rain drops. Yes, I do like the rains, as the poet, but rather than sitting inside, i go out and drench myself in the rain and eat pakodas with chutney, made by my mother.

When it rains steadily I eat crunchy snacks prepared by my mom, I sit watching T.V and enjoy the cool weather within my house. Sometimes I play in the water dripping or flowing
