Answer:
Traveling By Sea
Pakistan is a country in South Asia that borders the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. Given its coastal position, its trading network is well connected by sea.
Current Conditions for Sea Travel in Pakistan
At the current time, there is no publicly available ship that travels to or from Pakistan. Passenger boats do not make the journey, and so sea travel to the country is limited to merchant and military vessels only. The Pakistan Merchant Navy operates trade routes across the Arabian Sea, but these ships are not publicly available for booking. People hoping to make the journey into Pakistan will have to either take an overland route, or use air travel to arrive in the country.
A few pilgrim ships and boats do ply the waters between Pakistan and the Gulf States. During the times when Muslims travel to Saudi Arabia for their pilgrimages, there are large vessels that make the journey. However, these ships are restrictive regarding their passengers, and they do not operate throughout the year. Rather, they only make the journey during the season when religious pilgrimages are frequent.
