Yes, I do like his character coz of following points:-

• Skimble is incharge because he supervises everything that goes on.
• When Skimble’s glass- green eyes flash, the train starts.
• He examines the passengers’ faces and patrols the carriages. Nothing goes wrong when he is aboard.
• There are no mice and no rowdiness. He keeps a watch when the passengers are asleep and keeps the people well – behaved.
