God had declared some animals unclean to eat as food for humans. There was a time when there was nothing to eat. In one case, God told Peter to eat the food available and he (God) will make it clean.

In addition, if a food has a bacteria that you are unaware of , prayer keeps the food from harming our bodies. We ask God to cleanse our food and drink so both nourish our bodies. Therefore, we pray over our food and drink. It is another one of God’s grace for his children.

Thank you Father for the food and drink we are about to receive. Lord, let this food and drink nourish our bodies only. In Jesus name amen.
