Do you people think that the reservation system in India should be ban for permanently?? Give your opinion.

Yes, reservation should be banned in India. because of the reservation some castes get benifited and some won't. so the reservation should be banned in India...

"A team was trying to build a smart phone. They never got right semi conductor and many other good components as they dint have enough cash. Let's call them "Poor companies" in this argument. Other team had amazing semi conductors and other good components as it was an old team with deep cash pockets. Let's call them "rich companies" in this argument.

Govt says this is bad. Lets reserve the sales target in cell phone market for the poor companies with no access to good components.

Now the phones poor companies made turned out faulty. Could call only 3 times out of 7. But government said... Lets reserve sales of phones for poor company. Out of total sales of phones, 49 % has to be from poor companies.

Poor companies stopped improvement in quality of phones. Rich companies improved quality but realized people will pay more as they don't want to buy poor company phones. So they raised prices... Now consumers who could afford high price phones... Bought them. Many consumers here are owner of poor companies too as they had fixed revenues due to govt rules abt mandatory sales target of their poor quality phones and so practically got rich.

But many ppl (standard consumers) live with low quality phones as the poor companies are saved by government in sales. No matter what u do... The poor company phones are there to stay. N they won't improve as they don't care.

Many rich companies could not keep up with improvements done by co-rich companies. Subsequently became poor or perceived so from that relative rich past times. They thought why not to register to be listed as poor companies and get sales quota. Govt said we can't tag you poor. Poor companies list is already created. Poor companies say don't let them enter we are more poor.

So over all industry changed. People found innovative (at times distructive) ways of getting into poor companies list. Focus on innovation in phones was no one's interest as it took time and did not give any political leverage to govt as well. So politicians in opposition promised Rich companies trying hard to enter into poor list that if they came to power they ll make them enter poor companies list.


This went on till the time either mobile phone industry died or rules changed. We don't know as we have not seen this world. I hope we see soon though. And industry stays... After all we love our mobile phones. :) "
