I would prefer SCIENCE.
Whatever happens in the world, there is a reason behind it and that reason is provided to us by the POWER OF SCIENCE.
Even in playing games, there is SCIENCE behind it.
For ex: Have you ever thought that sunlight is just a simple light wave. But why do we feel heat in that sunlight?
→ SCIENCE is also behind this. Below the visible light spectrum, there are some invisible ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES. One of the wave from among the ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES is known as INFRARED RAYS. This is the ray which makes us feel hot.
There are many more such kind of MYSTERIES which could be easily understood with the help of the MAJESTIC POWER OF SCIENCE.
In a nutshell, SCIENCE RULES OVER THE UNIVERSE.
I am not against MATHS. There are patterns everywhere in the world.
For ex: "Math of Sunflowers"
→ The pattern of seeds within a sunflower follows the Fibonacci sequence, or 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144... If you remember back to math class, each number in the sequence is the sum of the previous two numbers. In sunflowers, the spirals you see in the center are generated from this sequence -- there are two series of curves winding in opposite directions, starting at the center and stretching out to the petals, with each seed sitting at a certain angle from the neighboring seeds to create the spiral.
Another ex: Why HONEYCOMBS are Hexagonal?
→ Honeycombs are made from beeswax, a substance created by worker bees. When the temperature is right, worker bees secrete wax scales from special glands in their body. Then they chew the wax with a bit of honey and pollen to produce the beeswax. The hexagonal cells serve as storage vessels for honey, as well as homes to raise young bees. Bees collect nectar and pollen from flowers to make honey, a sugary food, for the colony. Honey provides bees with the energy they need to survive and reproduce, as well as to build their homes. In order to make enough wax, worker bees need a lot of energy, and must therefore consume a lot of honey. Some studies estimate that bees must consume eight ounces of honey for every ounce of wax they produce. Imagine how many flowers a bee must visit to be able to convert nectar into eight ounces of honey! When building a honeycomb, bees must make sure they don’t waste more resources (wax) or expend more energy (honey) than necessary. This means that they need to use the least amount of wax possible to construct a comb that can store as much honey as possible. Hexagon is the only shape which can fulfill these things.
