Do you remember any incident when something that you learnt in the classroom helped you in some way outside the classroom? Write your experiences in a paragraph of about 90-100 words or narrate it to the whole class like an anecdote.

ExplIn class, I learnt about the earthquake and various do’s and don’ts that should be followed.

Really, it was very helpful for me when the greatest earthquake hit our place.

I alerted everyone and suggested to leave the building as soon as possible.

Apart from this, I even took shelter under hard furniture and was saved from unseen situation.

Answer:

paragraph

Explanation:

On that particular day, I was walking in a park as my doctor had advised. Many elderly men and women were also present. They were yelling at the top of their lungs. Suddenly, an elderly man began coughing. The coughing had begun in the blink of an eye. I pondered what we could do for a while. I recall what my First-Aid instructor told me in class. I immediately made the old man sit comfortably, straightening his legs. Then I massaged his back below his shoulders and asked him to cough slowly. Coughing brought tears to his eyes. Another boy was assigned the task of fetching some sweet water from a neighbor. After about 10-15 minutes, he was able to sit comfortably and return to the stone chair.
