Do you require any force in order to move a body uniformly along a straight line? Give reasons to justify your answer.

Answer:

Yes because the force is required to overcome the friction which is the ball is going to face but according to Newton 's first law if the object is moving in straight line then it will move (the law of inertia) so if are doing this in normal condition then force will be required to move the ball.
