No. Teaching shouldn't be done in one's mother language bcoz it reduces our influence with other languages and prevents world wide communication which increases our vulnerability in the world.

Students learn better in mother tongue rather than other language. It helps pupils to make a better academic performance. But other languages are also necessary. As example, English is very much useful through the world. So, one should know other languages and mother tongue. And studying in language other than mother tongue is not something wrong. It depends on necessity.
