Answer

According to me, building a Marsbase and terraforming Mars is practically feasible because scientists have discovered that there was water on Mars earlier. If scientist can make gravitational attraction of Mars strong then Mars will hold atmosphere, then humans will be able to live on Mars.

Humans need water, land, air and food to live. If scientist will find a way to make gravity of Mars strong then it will hold atmosphere, which will result in forming a good condition for humans to live on Mars.

NASA and Elon Musk are finding ways to make gravitational force of Mars stronger.

But it's very difficult, so most of the scientists are looking for another planet which is more similar to Earth.

Answer:

It depends very much on the man and his determination. (And what you mean by “man”)

Scenario 1 (He is allowed to use money he earned): He could hire scientist to find the best method for altering the environment of mars, maybe he would see a change happening on the red planet before his death. Humans are smart and can do quite a lot of things, but have short lives, which is quite a handicap.

Scenario 2 (1 man alone): There is no way in hell a single man can do anything that will make
