no,i think life prisoner is better for a criminal than capital punishment because it gives pain for a short time after a sprite come out from body.

In my opinion capital punishment is not justified.

EXPLANATION:

Capital Punishment is the most severe and extreme penalty meted out to a person. After the capital punishment there is no return as the convicted is terminated. In my opinion Capital Punishment is not justified.

Man is not perfect. He cannot thus be a perfect judge. Many a time it has been observed that a person has been wrongly convicted. Capital Punishment has taken away his life unjustly. Haven’t we lost thousands of innocent freedom fighters because of Capital Punishment? Did Bhagat Singh and his fellow comrades deserve such a death?  

Man is not God. He cannot give life so what right does he have in taking away life? Further, in my opinion a person should be given a chance to improve. Change often transforms a brute to a human being, but Capital Punishment doesn’t allow this change.

Referring to Anton Chekov’s short story-The Bet, I would therefore assert that Capital Punishment is by no means justified.
