do you think colour corrected and edited photos sets up the unrealistic expectations of beauty standards?​

this is one of the biggest problems in human society. we are taught to believe that the white, tall, slim etc. are the ideals for women in our world and the rest are just abnormal exceptions of the same. this is also due to frequent viewing of celebrities during galas and fests. after their 5 hour makeup routine, they look glamorous on camera, and it lures people in. these people in turn set up beauty standards, if not met, you are considered the low strata of beauty.. i feel this should not be encouraged, as beauty cannot be rated on a scale and everyone has his or her own looks and body, and it isn't something we can change, instead it must be celebrated
