Not all domestic animals are treated with kindness and love in our country. Domestic animals are the animals which are domesticated for some beneficial work. They are taken care only to grab out the maximum from them. It has been observed that the time when the animals stop giving their productivity, they are left as stray cattle. They are left with no place to live in. they also become the prey to the evil deeds of the people.
"The question is a subjective one and depends on the personal approach of a person who has the domestic animal. There are people who love animals like their family and are very sensitive and emotionally attached to not only the animals they pet but even the stray animals. They care for the animals as living beings and living creatures who only want love. So for some people, domestic animals are rather family.
But there are people who see domestic animals just as a status symbol or a source of economic benefit and the animals are just used for a benefit like any materialistic thing. Those people keep animals starved, treat with cruelty, and keep them in ruined places and conditions. So, we see a mixed response which is individually guided by individual interest and thought by people."
