YES, election protects the democracy. citizens of country elects the democratic rules for themselves by elections. and somehow the election is one of the principles of democray.

I think election protects democracy....if & only if all the people on that place give their votes to correct person who will save them, who will give them towards the progress...we all have that responsibility to clear 1st of all our duty of voting....
