The scrambled eggs episode clearly tells us that Harris is not a very good cook. He attempts to make a dish named scrambled eggs, for which he lands some half a dozen eggs in a frying pan and starts chivying them with fork. but every time George and Jim saw him he was sure of dancing around the pan holding his finger. at first Jim and George thought that this was some sort of Red Indian or Sandwich Islands sort of dish which needed alot of incantations for proper cooking. When Montmorency went closer and put his nose over the dish the fat spluttered and scalded him and he also started dancing around. at the end what the three friends got was a burnt unappetizing looking mess. This tells us that Harris is very boastful about his cooking skills.
