Yes i agree that Humans have done injustice to heritage sites and monuments as we know The Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world but due to the increasing pollution level, the white marble has turned yellow and it is said it will soon be removed from the 7 wonders and the second comes The Yamuna River, this river is considered as one of the holy rivers of the world but we have polluted it to such a level that it is hazardous to even bath in the river

Heritage Sites are a symbol of history. They are representation of the past and several times it becomes hard to understand why exactly do we need to spend time, energy and money to preserve heritage sites. Are they really important given the current world we live in? Apparently, they are.
