Imposition of laws can not alone reduce the rate of deforestation. Implementation of those laws in reality is important for achieving these goals.

Explaination:

Rather than implementing laws Government should focus on launching awareness programmes about problems caused by uncontrolled deforestation. If people understand what damage it is causing to the environment then maybe they will do something on their part to stop deforestation.

About wildlife hunting. The tribal people do not have a good source of income. That is why they depend on the forest produced goods like sandalwood, timber etc. They also depend on animals for ivory, animal skins etc. They should be given job opportunities and for this providing them with education is much needed.

There are also illegal trade of these precious goods from the forest. Mafias are destroying forests for their own selfish needs. The natural ecosystem is being hampered for which wild animals are coming to our habitats. Steps should be taken to control these illegal activities.
