No. Iraq is not a democratic country because of the following reasons:
1 ) Poland was ruled by a polictical party .
2) In the country no other polictical party was allowed to function.
3 ) The people could not freely choose the leader of the communist party or the government.
4 ) Those who spoke against the government or leaders were put in prison ; in the case of Iraq .
5 ) Saddan ran a dictatorial government and suppressed any dissent or opposition to the rule .
6 ) He was known to have got a number of polictica opponents killed and person of ethnic minorities massacred.
