here is your answer by a dav student . for every ship captain it is not easy to accept that risky suggestion.because the vishal did that in a small boat but the trishna was 8000 tons. it was very risky under that situation and it was very hard to accept.capt. kumar might was thinking about the people who were in the ship and may get into danger if we do that but finally he had to accept it because no other option was left . the chief engineer also told that he has to stop engine in 10 minutes so he accepted it.
