Local markets need not advertise to promote their sales like the ones done by the malls in shopping complexes because:
● Local markets don't sell expensive and requesting things.
● They sell neighborhood items which go more awful after couple of days though the large shopping centers and shopping edifices sell the exorbitant and marked items which needs publicizing.
● Local markets are regularly visited by economically backward people and mostly middle class who will not prefer branded goods but buy necessary goods only.

- Yes, local markets may use advertisement strategies like shopping malls do.
- It may attract more people which will result in more income
- More people can contribute to the development, as people will come and communicate their interests based on which local markets may evolve
- But it has a disadvantage. Sometimes it may cause them extra money. Because whatever medium they use, they will have to bare the cost and as a result they will have to increase the cost of products which most local people can't afford
