A metaphor is a well-known figure of the speech which describes the action of object in a manner which is not true literally, but aids in explaining the overall idea or also making any comparison.
The most important thing about a metaphor is that it states one element is another element.
If anyone literally take this metaphor, it possibly sounds strange.
