No it is not correct He explained that every first element and eight element is having similar chemical properties.But it fodnt workout beyond calcium

- Newland's law of octaves has some limitations . They are :-
- There are instances of two elements fitted into the same slot Ex: Co and Ni.
- Certain elements totally dissimilar in their properties ,were fitted into the same group.
- The law was not valid for elements that had atomic masses higher than calcium
- It was not left any room for new elements.
