Nope... I don't think so
They don't care about what and how the individual student understands...
It's just about 'u have to scoreeee'
Anyhow you just need to pass and get good marks (at least better than sharma Ji's son)

Hahah... u checking our memory power?
Learn, cram, and u'll pass
That just how examination system works

No, I don't think that our examination system are helping in evaluating the true potential of students. There are various reasons for this.

EXPLANATION:

  • The ‘examination and evaluation pattern’ are not evaluating the ‘true potential of our students’ because it is based only on ‘the marks obtained by the students’.
  • Students are generally expected to ‘memorize everything that they have been taught’ and to get good grades, but the ‘primary objective of education’ which is learning is absent from the curriculum. Also, the syllabus pattern of the major boards of the country is old and they are keeping up with the ‘technological progress’ happening in the world.
  • Also, the ‘moral education is absent in the system’, so maybe a ‘student is scoring very good grades in school’ but is morally not able to conduct himself in the public by doing inappropriate behaviour with the people or women.
  • The ‘motive of education’ must be the overall ‘development of a child’ and how he / she can be a good person who can benefit the society which our present ‘education system’ is lacking.
