Do you think Panchayats should raise more tax from the village to carry out development works or depend upon government funds?

The Panchayats in villages have more in-depth and important priorities for jobs and occupations. They already work on such tasks in villages. Government funds are needed necessarily but the village has a primary occupation of agriculture and some have even of labour. They should focus more on the condition and primary sector of the village other than raising taxes which are also needed.

It’s not by raising the taxes, but by curbing corruption, a Panchayat can develop a village in a more better way. So far, it has been a case of ‘’the more the taxes, the more the corruption’’, with regard to most of the Panchayats, irrespective of political affiliation.
