Answer:

Explanation:

Yes, parents like Mrs. Pumphrey exist in abundance. Mrs. Pumphrey was an exceedingly pampering woman; her pampering spoilt her pet dog, Tricki. In her love for him, she let him overeat; she did not make him do exercise. As a result Tricki became exceedingly fat. His health suffered. He had to be admitted to James Herriot’s clinic where he treated him by not giving him much to eat and making him do lots of physical exercise.

In the same manner parents who are pampering like Mrs. Pumphrey also spoil their children. They let them do anything they want, including things that are not good for them. As a result they develop bad habits which later on they can’t get rid of. These bad habits spoil their life, their career, and everything.

Parents should not be pampering. They should know the difference between good and bad for their children. They should pamper only as much as does not spoil their children. What good is pampering if it is going to be the cause of life-long pain for the children?

Parents should rear their children with wisdom and vision for their happy future.

Answer:

Yes, parents like Mrs. Pumphrey exist, and it's good to pamper children but to an extent excessive pampering love and care can spoil the children. It is because over pampered children often fail to face the hardship of life later. Pampering them is healthy but excess is harmful.
