However, why do people from the USA prefer their own collection of sports rather than the game most people call football! because it is what they grew up with. I grew up in the sixties and seventies, and the best music for me is from those decades. I can’t fathom why people like punk or rap or whatever they call it . Then others like my children like the music they grew up with etc. The game most people call football is a game that most countries around the world grew up with and they love it not because it is a great game to play and watch but because they identify with the game, or with a team they support.
