Yes, I completely agree with the statement. Urbanization has some cons long with the pros. These consequences have led to excessive and unsustainable consumption of resources and production of waste has also increased exponentially.

Three reasons:

• The waste produced by factories goes directly into the rivers.
• With the population growth the need of land increase and people cut down trees for building houses.
• The automobiles are using fuels that pollute the environment.
