Surely, reproductive health in India has improved in past 50 years.

Some specific areas of improvement are -

1) Use of contraceptives -

• People are now using contraceptives (mostly condoms & contraceptive pills). Hence, lot of sexualy transmitted diseases (like syphilis, gonorhea, HIV) are now in control.

2) Medical termination of pregnancy -

• Due to legalization of pregnancy within 20 weeks of conception, now its not dangerous to terminate unwanted pregnancy.

3) Sex education -

• Due to sex education to school children by goverment, reproductive hygiene has been improved.
