River is a very vital natural resource. They almost comprise of 75 percent of the earth's surface. They are considered important because they it supports the habitat of many thousands of organisms. They provide travel route for exploration, trade and recreation.It is a source of irrigation. They are use to produce electricity known as hydroelectric energy.
