He have surely taken the help of marathas if he was alive and this cooperation between marathas and Mysore can uphold the British army for a long time till the revolt of 1857 started and many of the territories of India united together to fight against British government ,and like Haider Ali his son tipu sultan was also brave who first introduced the rocket technology in the battlefield and maintained well trained army. if it was so then definitely India might have got independence in 1857.
