yes the growth of modern industry in India was deliberated stunt by the British rule as they have crossed all the industries in the India and open their own industries in India the first industry with their open in India was in Surat with the permission of Aurangzeb used to buy the products from India at very cheap cost and used to sell it at very high price in the international markets this is only the reason for stuned the growth of modern Indian industry under British rule
