No the punishment given to the Professor was not at all justified because he did not take it as a punishmet at all. He was given the cook house duty, but there also he never stopped with his lectures and gave some of his irrelevant lectures to the cooks in there. (regarding the lesson HOT TO PEEL A POTATO.) Therefore, his punishment was not justifed.
