Do you think that wind energy is a transformed form of the sun's energy? Give reason.

 Sun's energy or solar energy is the main  factor responsible for the formation of wind  and wind energy.
Air moves from high pressure region to low pressure region. Due to uneven heating on earth we have land and sea breeze. So, warm air expands and cooler air fills the gap.Hence wind is created. The kinetic energy possessed by the air due to its velocity is called wind energy.
Due solar energy, land breeze and sea breeze are caused.
Hence, Wind energy is a transformed form of Sun's Energy.

Yes it is true, the solar energy gives rise to the wind energy. As in the hotter areas, the pressure of the gas increases and it moves from hotter to cooler area in the form of wind. In this way the warm air expands and the cooler air run contiguously in its place. So wind energy is formed by the solar energy
