I do think that the boys looks after Lucia willingly... The boys loved Lucia immensely and they were very fond of her.. War had almost destroyed their whole family, leaving Lucia alone with them behind... Even after that they didnt lose their hope and war had not destroyed their spirit so that they stood against Germans and learnt to live their own life with their own spirit and hard work... When they came to know that their beloved sister had tuberculosis of spine, they were shocked and they admitted her in the hospital and did all kinds of jobs to earn hard and pay the fee regularly without an delay..

The ultimate aim of the two gentlemen was centered on the welfare of their sister.. Dawn till Dusk, They worked very hard just for te sake of their sister...

This couldn't be possible without their will...

Yes both of the boys looked after Lucia willingly.
Otherwise they would have left her in there. But they worked day and night did odd jobs and di not even spent a penny on themselves. They submitted the money regularly so that there is no delay in Lucia's checkup.
