India has a wide range of cultures, religions, languages and societies relating to traditions, traditions, customs and manner. While the diversity is special, India is still regarded as "Unity in Diversity" country. The motto of living peacefully, which has helped India achieve its independence, is one of the best thing about Indian diversity. This was because people of various backgrounds, castes, cultures, and societies had an active presence. They first believed they were Indians. Since every coin has two sides, in India diversity has many benefits, as well as disadvantages.

• Because of the diversity of religions, cultures, ethnic background and language, India is frequently faced with social tensions based on these issues. Examples can be defined as community-based violence based on religious beliefs or on tensions between citizens of various States with different language backgrounds.
• Also because of diversity there are still many states that do not have electricity and decent roads to travel, with underdeveloped infrastructure. At the other hand, several states are increasingly evolving to compete with some of the world's largest trade cities.
• Different regions, castes, states and various parts of the country have various problems which paralyze the government in order to address these problems. Elsewhere people battle for their rights of reservation, while elsewhere people fight migrants from different countries to find opportunities for jobs.
