yes the green revolution did succeed in India.
1- the production of food grains increased
2- India became self sufficient
3- the living standards of farms improved
4- agro based industries got a boost

India's main profession is harvesting.To improve the agricultural productivity our government had initiated the green revolution methodology in our country.In this methodology the usage of fertilizers and pesticides in the harvesting is the highlighting part to increase the allover productivity.

This green revolution is more or less successful because;

1)The crop production rate raised a lot in the past few years.

2)India is self dependent for food and crop now.

3)We also export a huge amount of crop in the foreign countries.
